Mastiff and CharacterBank collaborate to bring the award-winning action RPG to PS VR2, complete with all updates and DLCs.
Mastiff has announced that RUINSMAGUS, the first-person action RPG that launched about a year ago for Meta Quest 2 and Steam VR, will be making its way to PlayStation VR2 on September 19. This newest edition will launch as RUINSMAGUS: COMPLETE, offering a more immersive and feature-rich experience than ever before.
RUINSMAGUS is an anime-inspired action RPG that aims to redefine the genre with innovative VR controls and a highly immersive world. As a member of the prestigious RUINSMAGUS Guild, players undertake 25 story-driven missions in a quest to explore the ruins beneath the city of Grand Amnis. The game boasts a diverse spellbook of 16 powerful spells and a range of challenging puzzles and adversaries that will put your wits to the test.
What’s New?
This complete edition brings new and enhanced features to the PlayStation VR2 platform. These include:
- Enhanced 3D audio
- Enhanced Haptic Sequences and HMD rumble support
- Adaptive Trigger support
The release will also be content-complete, featuring all previous updates and DLCs, including the recently released “Remix Update.” This update offers optional full English voiceover support, improved translations, and redesigned late-game dungeons.
The Warrior and the Tailor DLC
Among the included content is the “The Warrior and the Tailor” DLC, accessible after completing Chapter 5. This DLC is a brand new side story involving a unique boss battle and allows players to unlock new costumes for the character Iris. The additional area also brings 9 new headwear and 5 new costumes for Iris to don.
RUINSMAGUS: COMPLETE offers PlayStation VR2 users an enhanced level of immersion, with its updated vibration patterns, new HMD rumble, and Adaptive Trigger support. The added Trophy support allows players to strive for the Platinum Trophy, offering another layer of challenge and accomplishment to this magical experience.
