Skonec Entertainment has released a major update for their popular hero shooter, Strike Rush, following the announcement during last week’s UploadVR 2024 Summer Showcase. The new update introduces the SHINING VESSEL, a nautical-themed map, along with a collection of themed character skins, all available for free.
Strike Rush is a 4v4 team-based co-op shooter designed for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro. Players can choose from six unique Blitzer characters, each equipped with special abilities and accompanied by Blitzmon AI companions. Acting as a supportive pet character, Blitzmon offers various abilities such as healing or attacking adversaries, adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of the game.
The newly released SHINING VESSEL map marks the first addition since the game’s debut, introducing a unique maritime environment that promises to captivate players, from novices to veterans. Set aboard the magnificent Luminus, a high-tech ocean liner adorned with vintage charm, the SHINING VESSEL offers an immersive setting where players can engage in intense battles. The ship’s multi-level design encourages strategic play, allowing Blitzers to utilize grand staircases and stained glass ceilings to their advantage. The onboard casino’s slot machines and a grand piano provide ample cover and tactical opportunities during skirmishes.
In addition to the new map, the update includes three vibrant skins for Blitzers Sarah, Violet, and Jake. These sailor-themed, surfing-inspired outfits are perfect for getting into the seafaring spirit and will be available at no extra cost.
